CORIC 100MG memiliki kandungan bahan aktif Allopurinol. Allopurinol termasuk dalam golongan inhibitor xanthine oksidase, yang dapat mengurangi kadar asam urat dengan mengganggu perubahan hipoxanthine menjadi xanthine dan xanthine menjadi asam urat, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk hiperurisemia primer (Gout) dan hiperurisemia sekunder (mencegah pengendapan asam urat dan kalsium oksalat).
